We measure our impact to improve it
Our social and environmental impact is assessed through the Benefit Impact Assessment (BIA), the external standard required by Italian law for Benefit Corporations.
This tool allows us to objectively measure our sustainability practices, identify areas for improvement, and turn our values into concrete actions.
The assessment process
The BIA assesses five key areas of our organization:
Governance, Workers, Community, Environment, and Customers.
For each area, policies, practices, and outcomes are evaluated, enabling us to monitor the Group’s progress over time.
The infographic on this page presents the overall score achieved, along with a breakdown of progress compared to previous years for Eurotherm and Enetec. The results reflect our commitment to advancing initiatives that generate benefits for people, the environment, and stakeholders. Among the most significant actions are:
- the integration of sustainability goals into MBOs,
- the adoption of the Code of Conduct across all key suppliers,
- the calculation of the Corporate Carbon Footprint,
- the launch of a photovoltaic system,
- recognized practices supporting organizational well-being and positive customer impact.
B Corp Certification
The B Corp certification is globally recognized and confirms the achievement of rigorous standards in social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Issued by the nonprofit organization B Lab, it requires passing the B Impact Assessment with a minimum score of 80 out of 200 points, as well as updating legal documents to include commitments toward all stakeholders.
B Corp certified companies stand out for a business model that measures success not only in economic terms, but in the value created for people, communities, and the environment. It is a continuous improvement journey that strengthens trust, attractiveness, reputation, and resilience.
